We have seen how to install Windows 7 on vmware and how to use the required LSI SCSI drivers so the SCSI harddrive is detected.
Now that we have tested that everything is working fine, lets use a real USB harddisk instead of a virtual disk, this way we bypass the Windows limitation to install on an external USB drive. Its easy...

yeah.. i got the password for the file before.. for all who need the password it is "password" haha funny.. i was trying all different combinations. so, how to install to hard drive? info is missing on the page..
I took out the current XP drive and put in an empty drive. I install Win 7 and then took it out and put it onto my USB casing. I set my bios to boot from USB. It booted but went to an error mode and could not detect the window files because it keep looking into C:windows. when boot up from USB, my bios assign x: to the drive... I still can't find a way around this...
